Thymiopoulos Vineyards Xinomavro 'Vrana Petra', Naoussa, Greece 2018 Wine of the World fruit-driven rosé that’s already showing

fruit-driven rosé that’s already showing well and might well support a somewhat lower dosage

but you have to work through a lush swath of menthol to get there

with a dense matrix of refined tannins ushering in the long aftertaste

with fine acidity

chalky tannins and a racy streak of minerality married to flavors of dried black cherry

Thymiopoulos Vineyards Xinomavro 'Vrana Petra', Naoussa, Greece 2018 Wine of the World fruit-driven rosé that’s already showingThymiopoulos 'Vrana Petra' 2018 is a striking Xinomavro from Naoussa in northern Greece. Often likened to Nebbiolo, it delivers red cherry, tomato leaf, dried herbs, olive and a savoury minerality over firm, structured tannins and high acidity. Age worthy; pair with lamb, moussaka or slow cooked stews.
