hints of red fruit
yet not achingly so
I very much like this understated effort as it is an exercise in harmony and refinement and while there is the usual taut muscularity of a classic Corton-Charlemagne
Glazter's vineyards are predominately South-facing and are all around the village of Göttlesbrunn
with great finesse and elegance as well as long and juicy
2019 | Schweiger Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon | Spring Mountain Château Feytit-Clinet hints of red fruitAroma: Cassis, dark plum, and black licorice dominate, complemented by notes of coffee grounds, cola, and dark chocolate. Palate: Blackberry, currant, and plum flavors unfold with layers of mocha, anise, and dark cherry, supported by chalky tannins and firm mountain acidity. Finish: The finish is long and resonant, with lingering chocolate covered dark cherry tones. Enjoyable now, yet structured to age gracefully for 20 years or more.
